Christmas

WOW! Santa sure does listen to our kids well. It was another good Christmas...exhausting but good to be together as a family. Gavin was very excited this year and seems to understand exactly what is going on. Keaton was a lot better with opening HIS presents only this year and Raegan had some great surprised faces to offer when she got the gifts that she wanted.

We tried something this year by going to Operation Santa Claus.....which was a Lockheed Martin sponsored December long event where we collected toys and food throughout the month and then we went to an LDS church where we chose a family, wrapped their gifts, went to pickup groceries for them and then drove to their home to deliver them. This year we had a family with a mom, dad, 16 year old, 7 year old and a two year old. They were very excited to see us and Raegan and Keaton were a great help in being friendly to the kids and giving them their gifts. Raegan was able to understand why we give to those who need and we tried to drive home a bit what the real meaning of Christmas is. Keaton on the otehr hand does not understand why we did the charity but he was very well behaved....better than I would expect him to be around a bunch of gifts.
